Charlotte works full-time for Swim England as one of the Safegurding Managers.
She volunteers with ECAD to ensure that our Safeguarding policies and processes are fit for purpose and meet the regulatory requirements.
Charlotte's focus will be to ensure that deaf people are supported to access sport in a safe environment and support coaches and volunteers to do this in a way that empowers deaf cricketers.
Chris has been a cricketer since his school days joined the England Deaf Set-up in 2004.
His role isn't as a player anymore but he continues to support as BSL/English Interpreter, volunteering his time during Board meetings and meetings with ECB.
Currently, he is working with ECD to improve Interpreter access for Deaf cricketers. Starting with the Elite and DPL pathway players, Looking to set up Coaching and Scorer Courses for Deaf players and coordinating the Interpreter support so Deaf players can attend.
