Last November, one of our committee members, Stuart Harrison delivered a workshop to help ECB staff, coaches and volunteers to discover and use more effective ways of communicating with Deaf and hard of hearing (DHH) people in the cricket environment.
The workshop lasts 3 hours and is full of practical activities to enable people to use their non-verbal communication skills when engaging with DHH players.

As this was the first edition of this course, we worked with those who already work in the County Disability Cricket pathway and this is now open to all mainstream cricket organisations who wish to develop those essential skills.
