The ECB Disability Cricket Annual Conference was held on 13th January 2024 at Edgbaston Birmingham. The highlights from this for deaf and hard of hearing players is shared below.
In domestic cricket, there are two Pan-Disability leagues that provide competitive opportunities for cricketers with physical disabilities, learning disabilities or hearing impairments (Super9’s and D40). For more information click on the links below.
There will be 82 D40 fixtures and 62 Super 9's Regional Fixtures 20 teams have been registered for the D40 or S9
Players who are currently registered with a county team will be able to transfer to another country team - but only in the close season (October - April)
Players will not be allowed to transfer if this involves travelling through another county that already has a D40 team in place.
