Moving ahead into the 2024 season, we are excited to offer an expanded programme, which will start with two weekend winter training camps. Both camps will take place at the Indoor School at Edgbaston stadium, Birmingham. The first camp was held on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th February, the second will take place on the 2nd and 3rd March.
Following those camps, we are working on holding three match days in 2024. One will be at the National Cricket Performance Centre in Loughborough. That is likely to take place on Saturday 24th August.
In addition, we are very keen to keep increasing the group of players that we have. Our intention is that once the group is sufficient in size, we will look to create two ‘Franchised’ squads that will form the start of a Women’s Disability Premier League. This very exciting departure and one that I know is gaining some good traction internally at ECB. Once we achieve this, we will truly all be part of a ground-breaking, first of its kind (as far as we are aware), anywhere in the cricketing world, pan disability cricket competition for women.

To any deaf , hard of hearing women who are currently playing hard ball cricket who would like to get involved please contact Katie Harrison or Richard Hill at ECB. .
